We would like to pause a minute to recognize some boxers who  have touched our hearts and are no longer with us.

Our Baby Tazzy!

Taz was 7 years old when he needed to be rescued. A victim of divorce, he found himself without someone willing to keep him and his mother. The stress of potential separation suddenly killed his mother and poor Taz was alone and in need of a forever home. We spent some time getting to know him, I had my heart set on a puppy and I was concerned about his age. In no time at all he had won our hearts completely. It happened so naturally no one noticed. It was like I called God directly and put in an order for the perfect dog and I got him!!! The next 4 and 1/2 years flew by filled with love, fun, tons of photos, birthday celebrations (Tazzy's) and our life was perfect. On Tazzy's 11th Birthday this year August 21st we had a terrible day Taz got sick and had emergency surgery for a mass in his stomach that burst. The results were not good. Taz had cancer and it was not curable. They said we had little time left with our baby. We took him home and showered him with love, kisses, yummies and Mr. popular had more visitors from family and friends then I ever have in my lifetime. late Saturday September 25, 2004 with the love and support of my Mom and sister we had to help our sweet Tazzy pass peacefully. The worst day of our life!!  We knew it would be hard but boy we had no idea how unbearable the pain would be.

For our friends and family this left them helpless because all of them saw there was absolutley NOTHING they could do to comfort us. We have been asked so many times please let us do something for you and the loss you have suffered. We finally had a idea. A medical donation fund in Taz's memory through Boxer Rescue Los Angeles. We are grateful to have people who spend their time caring for these wonderful dogs, weather they have medical issues, behavior issues or just need sometime to adjust to their life. We are currently preparing to adopt another adult Boxer from this organization because Tazzy showed us how much love and life a adult mature dog can bring to your home. We want another adult Boxer to fill the empty space in our home and family. Tazzy will never be replaced in our hearts but we will make room and space for another.

Thank you to all of our family and amazing friends who love Taz as much as we do and for making his Memorial Donation Fund a success. I invite anyone who loves or loved and lost a precious part of their family to join our fund in my baby Tazzy's memory.

My friend told me today that 12,500 unwanted, unloved animals are put down every hour in the United States . PLEASE ADOPT YOUR NEW FAMILY MEMBER.
