Tribute to Rudy:

Adoption Date: Jan 4, 2003, died August 16 2007

This is a letter written by our 12 year old daughter. We will bury it with his collar under a memorial stone in our back yard:

My best Dog:

Dear Rudy,

I really wish you didn't have to go so soon. I love you so much! I will never stop. When I heard you were gone, I didn't believe it.

Yogi is doing okay but he misses you a lot. Now he can't be left alone! He has to come with us everywhere!

If I had only one wish, I would wish for you to come back. I know you can't , but I would still make that wish.

I got a new Nintendo DS and got a game called Dogs. The first dog I got was a boxer and I named him Rudy. He looks exactly like you! He will be my favorite dog in that game!

Madelyn is doing better now even though she cried for a long time when she heard you died. My dad was really upset so was mom and all of our friends. The whole world isn't the same without you.

We might get a new dog to keep Yogi company. NOT TE REPLACE YOUR. Nothing can replace you Oh! I had a drean about you. What does it mean? If you know, come to me in my drean and tell me. Well, thank you for being a good dog and choosing our family to live with for four years. I will never forget you!

Here are our two daughters with Rudy and Yogi. This picture was taken about a week before Rudy died. Yogi is a 9 month of Dogue De Bordeaux. The two bonded quickly and were fast friends.
