Our Beloved Promise

As I sit here in tears today, The Angels came and took our Promise away. (Aug. 18, 2007)

She was an Angel that saved us, When she came to us that very special day.(Feb. 2, 2006)

She recued us about a year and a half ago, We'll NEVER forget that glorious day!

She was the most wonderful companion, Our family was blessed have her come our way.

She was absolutely perfect in every way; There wasn't a thing she didn't love every day.

We know she was old when she came to us, But she still acted as if she were two.

A horrible disease came and took her away today, We tried everything we could do.

But in the end the Cancer still won, OH, God now what do we do?

We prayed each and every day, But the Cancer stil came and took her away.

For she will be missed so very much, Boy, I wish she could still be touched.

We miss her so very dearly, As now our lives are so weary....

We know she no longer suffers, As our hearts now feel like melted butter.

Why'd you have to leave us so soon? We had so much more life to give to you.

You were loved so very much, And our hearts feel like

they've been crushed.

As we sit here in a daze, We know we'll meet again someday.
