MITCH

After spending one year at Herrick, and only 26 months to the day with me, old Mitchy died this morning after a really bad case of bloat. He has just started to bloat when I rushed him to the emergency which is less than one mile away, and he was taken in right away.

Mitch had an "iffy" history, he had many tumors while waiting for help at Herrick for a whole year. Raphaele and I finally sponsored the surgery. But he was not a lucky boy - a cancerous tumor developed on his leg. Thanks to Dennis that was taken care off. I picked him up from the vet to give him a few days of recovery. He never left my house ... and Dennis has never forgiven me for stealing his dog.

He was around 11 years old. No puppy can give me what he has given me during the past two years. Remember that when you are tempted to adopt a puppy. I miss my boy so much ..
