Ursula I met you in late 94 when I was looking to adopt a dog. I came away with Clara, so much more than a dog or a pet, but in fact one of the finest friends I have had the pleasure of knowing. Five years ago Clara developed cancer and subsequently lost her front leg. It was a rocky period to say the least but she came through and thrived. This dog taught more to people than most schoolrooms. Kindness, tenacity, release of ego and humor were her strong suits. Yesterday, Clara passed at the very full age of 14. Though my heart hangs heavy, I am full of memories and lessons brought to me by this most special of creatures. The fact that she was loved and adored by all and that she knew both of my parents, who also passed, makes her continue to be the light that you offered me, that day we met many years ago. All my thanks and best wishes.... and you will be hearing from me again. Jf Pryor
