DOG: Princess Daisy
We are Boxer Rescue LA. With Princess Daisy we stress the RESCUE portion of our name more than the boxer part. This her way to BRLA because of her sweet disposition, not because of her boxer lineage (or lack of…). She is about the size of a beagle, and is a very quiet sweet young lady. She definitely has the heart and sweet spirit of a boxer, just in a much smaller package. She is a fair Princess in search of her very own kingdom.
P. Daisy (her not so royal nickname) is a spunky girl, who is great on a leash. She trots along happily right next to you. She is mild mannered and is looking to bond with you. You can see it in her eyes. She loves affection and would make a great dog to cuddle with. She is the perfect companion for movie night at home. She is so small; you would still have plenty of room left on the sofa.
Kennel life is stressful and even with Princess Daisy’s calm nature, the stress takes a toll. She is recovering from mange, but stress works against the healing process. A happy dog heals much faster.
As we all know, home life is the best medicine. She is receiving medication and her fur is starting to grow back. Right now you can see her cute black freckles on her skin. These freckles will be covered with snow white fur in a few months and she will be a beauty.
She is fine with other dogs; she does not appreciate the in-your-face jumpy kind. She likes dogs with the same temperament she has, which is refined, calm and easy going. She would make a great little dog for someone who wants an easy companion to fit into tight quarters. She is fine on her own, and would not guilt you into taking her to dog parks.
She just wants love and to live the life of a royal Pint Size Princess. Which every dog deserves!
