WE HAVE A 2-1/2 YEAR OLD BOXER THAT WE BOUGHT FROM A BREEDER IN LAKE ELSINOR WHEN SHE WAS 8 WEEKS OLD THAT GREW UP WITH OUR OLDER COCKER SPANIEL THAT RECENTLY WENT TO DOGGIE HEAVEN AND AFTER SHE MOPED FOR AWHILE WE DECIDED TO GET A COMPANION DOG AND WANTED ANOTHER BOXER AND ENDED UP RESCUING ONE 2 YEARS OLD FROM THE SEAL BEACH ANIMAL CONTROL CENTER WHO ALSO DO GREAT WORK IN RESCUING ANIMALS. FOUND YOUR WEB SITE THROUGH THE S.B.A.C.C. WEB SITE SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND I'LL PASS ON TO OTHERS INTERESTED.
We're thinking of adopting or buying a boxer. We have a nine-year-old-female poodle who we got from the Human Society in Broward Co., Florida 8 years ago. We have a 13-year-old-cat, a one-year old cat, and two birds. We want this pet for the family, but especially for my 12-year old son. We would prefer a young female, and we are on a budget. Please e-mail any information you might have. Thanks, Connie
Recently I called on an ad in a local classified publication inquiring about a Boxer dog for sale. The seller referred me to your web site, and I'm so happy she did. I found your site very informative and am convinced that the Boxer Rescue is the right way to adopt. I personally don't want a dog for breeding; rather, I'm looking for a playful, fun, loving dog that I can be confident will be safe with children. Also, my wife has a very sensitive skin condition whereby it becomes very irritated and red, like a rash, when she comes into contact with long-hair animals. The Boxer's loving and gentle temperment is perfect for our needs. Additionally, we can provide this dog with lots of love, attention, exercise, and a large backyard to explore.
Just a note about the website, please do a spell check. I notice some errors.

You are really doing a wonderful thing.
What a great Mission wish they had on here in Canada - we have one and a puppy coming in 6 weeks and these are the greatest dogs for anyone! Good Work!
Please send me any new info. I am very intrested in all.
We have a champion boxer named Crush. He is a handful and is wonderful with our 7th month daughter. Boxers are a wonderful breed to have around children! They make you laugh and make you feel better if you are feeling down. Crush has a great personality. He goes crazy when anyone makes a funny noise. He and my husband play all the time.
We rescued "Mrs. Beasley" from Ursula 4 years ago and decided a year later that she needed a playmate. Zach was adopted and our happy family is going strong.
Boxers are not for everyone and are a lot of work. They need constant attention and effection. Please know if you are getting a boxer that they are good with children, not all are good with other dogs (both of ours do not get along with other dogs but love each other) and may try to run away or break out of your house and they can climb chain link fence!
Some boxers need to be caged while you are gone for a year or 2 so they will not break out of a window and get hurt or run away. They should always be on a leash. (of course if you cage your boxer, you should not leave her/him for more than a couple hours at a time) Pet insurance is reccomended as they can get frequent eye ulcers, cancer, tumors.
I don't mean to scare people off but preparing you for your boxer(s). These are the best dogs you could ever have.
You have done a great job with this web page. I am very impressed. Are you a non-profit organiztion that gives receipts when things are donated? I would also like to know how to get your newsletter. I have been referring people to you for years and would like to be up to date with the information I tell others.
Thanks
I WOULD LIKE INFO ON HOW I CAN GET INVOLVED IN A BOXER RESCUE FOUNDATION. I HAVE 2 BOXERS AND WOULD LIKE TO HELP.
