We got our boxer from here. We got another from VIVA,rescuse
Well I think this page is a great thing and all other pages like it. My friend and I currently purchased a boxer and he is just one of the greatest things brought to both our lives. We are looking for a female to breed them and as of now we can't get a female. We didn't want them to be to far apart in age, but we can't get a pup right now. So when the time is right we decided that we would look to adopt a boxer, it's great to know where to go.
I wish touched by your website & can not believe the number of boxers you have uo for adoption. I myself have a 4 1/2 year old boxer & is the joy of my husbands & myself lives. We got him when he was a pup & with a lot of training he turned out to be a wonderful friend. The past owners of your dogs really make me sick. Why they didn't read up on the breed before they got a boxer is beyond me. Boxers do require alot of training, excercise & especially patience. Believe me, I know, but in the long run they turn out to be the most loving family member alive. Since I live in NJ I would like to know if there is a boxer rescue that is close to me that you can recommend. We are thinking about adopting another... Thanks & keeep up the good work- Joyce LaRosa

I LOVE BOXERS!! WE CURRENTLY HAVE A BOXER, AND SHE IS WONDERFUL!!! HOW CAN I FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS?
Hello, I found your site through a net search. I have a homepage called 'Boxer Babes' about my two boxers, Daisy and Dolly. You can find them at; http://website.lineone.net/~david.baggley/index.html There you will also find an extensive list of UK boxer web sites which includes boxer rescue centres. All the best.
Just found your site. We have had boxers before and think they are the greatest. We are now baby sitting my sons dog and after this we will be checking your site and see if we can assist on the adoption of one. Right now it is not the right time for us. But as I say we will keep watching your site and get involved later on. is there a organization like your in the Riverside/San Bernardino area? Thank you. I know your work is appreciated. Howard.
this was my first time to this site, and I myself own two boxers. Tears ran down my eyes as I read the boxer stories, I just couldn't imagine dogs being treated like that. I thought of my own dogs and how special they are to me. Words can't explain how they make me feel. I congratulate everyone that help keep these boxers safe.
Considering having a boxer pup.
We are thinking of getting a second dog... possibly an merican boxer, and this is just a start. Your website is wonderful and I'm sure that I will be visiting it a lot.
Thank you, Jen Pliska

Dear Ursula, I was so pleased to see your website. I do have some bad news for you though, our Dolly, which we adopted from you around 10 years ago has passed away. She was diagnosed with Lymphoma and did not respond well to the treatments. She passed away May 18, 1999. I was hoping to adopt again some time in the near future and I was wondering what the adoption fees are now and what else I need to do, other than fill out the adoption forms? Hope to see you soon and thanks for the dedication and love that you put into Boxer Rescue.
Sincerely,
Elsa Echegaray
Some great stories, I also have a female fawn boxer and I wouldn't give her up for the world. I've also put in a request to get more info on adopting another. :)
I have had the opportunity to meet Ursula on two different occassions. I have the greatest respect for all the rescue organizations regardless of the breed(s) they are trying to help. I am trying to convince my parents ( again) about adopting a Boxer, that way my Boxer can have a playmate.
Keep up the great work!!
Stuart
Hi How often do the Boxer stories change? We enjoy the site would like to see new happy home stories. Seems the stories section is always the same, no updates?
We are looking for a female boxer who enjoys other boxers. Preferrably between the ages of 2 months- 2 1/2 years old.
I am wondering if you are going to be at the Pomona Pet Fair/Expo in April. Please call on me if you are in need of of volunteers to man the booth. I really miss boxer company since my old guy, Gus, passed away last November. I visit the web site all the time to see who's new and who's gotten adopted. You are doing a wonderful work.
Sorry I don't use my E-Mail very often. I gave the wrong E-Mail address before, so this is just to give you the right one. Thanks again
A little over a year ago, we adopted Gingerette from your Rescue organization. I have to tell you that she has been such a joy to us. She has fit in right from the start with our other boxer Boomer, and our beagle Bessie. She had many allergies and her coat was pretty shabby.....after several months on the Solid Gold Hundenflaken, and Bee Pollen, her allergies are gone and her coat is glossy and just beautiful. What a difference. Her personality has changed so much and we love her dearly. We can't thank you enough for allowing us to adopt her. She even enjoys swimming in the pool when it's hot here!!
I just love what you are doing for these dogs, it is so true that they are a part of God's creation. We currently own a male and a female Phoenix and Belle and we would have no other dogs. We just love them and they are a big part of our family. I am so happy that I located your sight. I would love to see sights and stores with more merchandise with boxers on them! God bless you and your home!
We love you
I love your website. I have 2 wonderful boxers myself, they are real good with my 2 children. If I could I would abdopt every boxer you have. Keep up the good work. Boxers are the best.
For my 13th Birthday my parents let me pick out any kind of dog I wanted. I researched and decided to get a Boxer. Well, seven years later I couldn't imagine life without Rocki. He is the neatest dog I have ever had. I love his humorous personality and constant love. I have a three year old nephew that can do everything from pull on his ears to ride on his back and Rocki never minds! I think Boxers are great dogs for families. This is a great site and I think the rescue missions are doing a great job of caring and placing dogs!
Hi:
My name is Margie Hill. My husband, Bud and myself have now adopted two boxers from Ursula and Boxer Rescue of LA. Our first adoption was an older boxer who had a leg injury. He was wonderful. Last year in April (1999) we adopted another boxer and we are so happy with him. I am going to submit an incredible story soon. When we tell just one of the stories about "Governor", people get goosebumps. He is very special.
We are sending the story along with an early picture of "Governor" and now, about l0 months later. We will also enclose our check to assist you.
We have six different friends who have adopted boxers and are very happy.
After reading the stories on your website today, we know you are "angels".
Sincerely,
Bud and Margie Hill
We have a rescue Boxer named Tyson, that we love a lot. We would highly recommend a rescued dog.
