interested in getting a boxer soon. Right now im just gathering info about them.I am some what familiar with the rescue i use to work for Shannon Ray who helps out with the organization. I have 2 cats and i am a bit concerned about how they are around cats.
Last year I had to give put a major part of my life to our local boxer rescue and his name was Gunny. He was a year old when I found out that he had a really really bad hips and the local vet said it would be best to put him down. I couldn't afford the medication for his hips and I didn't want to see him put down at such a young age. (nobody wants to see their child be put to sleep) we had done obiedence training together and he was great with my two children so i called our local boxer rescue and she said it would be no problem in placing him. It really made me feel good knowing that they would find him a good home. and i think it's great with what you guys are doing, keep up the good work.
Seriously considering adopting a Boxer and really like your site. I had a boxer when younger but was single and had to move to another part of country and had to get rid of my boxer. And yes, he was placed in a great home. I'm back in California, married with a house. I still see my old boxer every once in a while, but it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Im hoping to give one of your Boxers a home someday.
WOULD LIKE INFO. ON BOXER RESCUE IN MY AREA. WOULD LIKE TO ADOPT A BOXER.
I have a seven year old female, Rockie, she's my best "BUD".
I lose my male, Barney with cancer. I still cry when I think of him.
I love all animals, but some how these Boxers really tug at your heart.
I know God loves them too. Barney and many other beautiful boxers are romping around in heaven!
God Bless you all for what you do.

I think what your organization is doing is super. I just adopted a boxer that was foung walking aroung half dead. She is about 5 months old and her name is kaila. She is going to be treated great by me and my future wife. I will keep you posted with kaila recovery.
Thank you
I got the beautiful "Babe" (formally named Bruska) from Ursala about three years ago. She was the dog that was abused that Ursala got from San Bernadino that was at one time down to 26 lbs. (from over 50) She is now the healthiest and happiest of the four wonderful boxers I have had in my lifetime. MANY, MANY thanks for your dedication and love that keeps the placment of these poor babies possible. Merry Christmas to you all. Felix
PS: ThaNKS FOR THE NEWSLETTER AND GREAT NEWS ON NEW KENNEL. I'LL SEND PICTURE OF BABE AND CHECK asap.
We got our Boxer "Floyd" from Ursula about 2 years ago. Floyd is a well behaved gentleman of refined taste and abilities. He was one of the more experienced dogs in residence at the time. We were so happy to get an older dog that fit in well with our lifestyle. (He has consented to allow us to continue living in his house, as long as he gets to sleep by his own personal heater on chilly nights.) Boxer rescue is a great organization, and Ursula is a wonderful woman. We already know where we will be getting our next dog from when Floyd wants a companion.
My family and I adopted a wonderful 13-month-old fawn male from Boxer Rescue back in August. It has turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. His name was Tank when we received him but he was not much of a Tank so we changed his name to Shadow. He has been a great addition to the family and has brought us all much closer. We invested in a rescue recommend trainer named Sandy Driscoll who helped us work out some of the kinks. We now have a wonderful companion and a new family member. Thanks to all at Boxer Rescue and especially John who kept this wonderful animal at his home when the shelter was full.
Very cute and informative. I know John Schillaci and think this is a wonderful foundation that you have. Good luck.
i love your page your dog bear is cool
Happy Holidays to all the Volunteers at Boxer Rescue and thank you for your cards. I know we are all looking forward to another great year of rescuing and finding homes for those wonderful Boxers. Heidi G
I want to help as many boxers as possible. If anyone knows anything I can do please let me know.
I just wanted to say I've have lived with my boxer for a year and a half, and you described him perfectly. He gets his daily walk, and all my free time, and he returns it with so much more. People that have taken thier dogs to obediance school are amazed by how smart, and well behaved he is. Nice site.

I have a 3 year old boxer and have 2 friends who also now have Boxers and LOVE them! I enjoyed visiting your web site and was very moved by the stories of Angel and George. We found our Boxer through our local Boxer rescue and are very grateful for the work Boxer Rescue does. Thanks!
DEREK IS DOING A GREAT JOB ON THE BOXER PAGE. WHAT A SUPER IDEA! EVERYTHING IS LOOKING GOOOOOOD! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. GIVE THE BOXERS A KISS FOR ME.
Thank you for such an enjoyable site. I would love to adopt a boxer but live in an apartment. While the apartment manager does not mind if I have a dog I am not sure if a boxer would be happy not having a yard. So for now I will simply enjoy your site. Thank you again.
I would like information on how to help boxers in need. I am in Arizona, but I am more than willing to drive to my surrounding states to help foster or rescue boxers. I would also like to know how to set up something in Arizona were I could be contacted about boxers in Arizona in need, because at this time there is no rescue here.
GREAT WEB PAGE...YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB AND WE LOVE TO BROWSE IT
