Great web site! As I came out of the pharmacy today, I just ran into a girl who adopted two boxers after a boxer death in the family. She was taking them for a ride. She was a total stranger, but I stopped to ask her about her "children." They looked wonderful and happy.
I adopted an (appoximate) 18 month old, white male as a gift for my son and his bride while I was living in LA. We named him Oliver and he lives in Arizona with his another Boxer named Emo. They live the good life. Oliver is very special, has the face and temperment of an angel, and is inseparable from my son. We were so fortunate to find him - thank you!
Hi,
Just wanted to give my appreciation of all the hard work everyone is putting in to sustain the shelter.
Thank God you were there when I brought Baron in. Thank you for giving him a second chance. His fate was only two days away and Ursula gave me the go ahead to bring him in.
I would have kept him but I have to dogs already. I am just so thankful he is out of the fate of his previous irresponsible owners,
Thank you for giving animals a second chance, and a chance to love and be loved.
Jaymie C.
We'll make an appointment for adoption on the weekend of the 28th, till then I have to say this: This website is the most organized site I've seen, great photography and the amount of talented effort that is involved here is impressive!! I'm getting everything ready for our new Boxer, bed, bowls, tags, collars, leather leash, toys and love! Thanks and we'll be seeing you all very soon. Donna and Lewis Kurtz
I'm looking for a young boxer for my 5 year old son who is having a hard time dealing with the loss of his older brother. the dog needs to be house broken and good with children.
I just wanted to let you know that I think your organization is great. I just recently bought a puppy boxer and so I have been looking up everything I can on the internet about boxers. I stumbled across your sight and spent at least an hour or two looking and reading about all the cute boxers you have. I added you to my favorites and go back and check on the dogs to see if they have been adopted out. It's so great to see all the dogs that are adopted out. I think the boxer dog is a great breed and am enjoying our little Jo-Jo. Keep up the good work.
You're doing a great job! We own a white boxer age 5, it's a wonderful dog! We love her! My parents also have a boxer, it' their fourth boxer! Go on with the great work you're doing there! Lots of love to the dogs!
I have a 3 year old Fawn female boxer and she is the most wonderful thing, I found your website to be very informative and help full.
We would like a female, younger than 5 years old, and would prefer a fawn. The dog will be living with a recently widowed 70 year old man.
We are interested in an update on the progress of your kennel and its needs.
WE ARE NEW HOME OWNERS AND INSTALLING A VERY NICE DOG RUN AND WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO ADOPT A BOXER. I HAVE LOVED THIS BREED SINCE I WAS A CHILD. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANY PUPPIES ARE AVAILABLE.
My Boxer Sonya says thanks agian for all the goodness you are doing. I adopted her about 2 yrs ago from the organization and I am just so happy with her. She has nothing but love to give and quite a good protector as well. I just wanted to drop a line to let you know that one of your adopted if having the time of her life. :-)
My name is Peta and though I know I canīt help, because I live too far of California, I would like to tell you that it is very nice what you do for the boxers. I would wish especially Cele and Bonkers to be rescued. It touches me too much, because I am owner of sweet male boxer too, nine years old and i love him. I know how it hurts them to lost their owner just for the while, boxers are very sensible and sweet, very friendly to stay alone. So although I cannot help,I would be so much thankful to know that they found a new home. Here in Europe and especially in my land I know about the boxer-clubs but there is no organisation in my land to rescue them, so I didīnīt know that so many boxers miss their home. I do not know anyone who ownes any, that would leave them. Thank you for these infos, I believe you tell people this way so much to think about it first, than they bring dogs home. not to leave them after. Peta, with many greetings to you and with love to all of the boxers you have rescued
I have enjoyed your website. It has made me laugh and cry. I rescued a boxer two years ago this past April. She was half starved, some of her teeth were knocked out, and she had obviously been beaten. You would never know to look at her today that she was ever in such sad shape. She weighs sixty-three pounds, has the slickest shiniest coat, and has the run of the household. She is such a joy to my daughter and I. She is such a loving, humble, beautiful animal, I can't imagine anyone being mean to her. She will never have to worry about being abused ever again. She is part of our family for the rest of her life. Keep up the good work,I commend your efforts for saving these beautiful dogs.
I love your site and what you do for the boxers. We have two and they are the loves or our lives. I have had them since they were born and when I read your description of the breed I was smiling the entire time. It is so accurate. I can't imagine my life without them, they are our kids and they both sleep in our bed. We have just purchased a large home and have decided we will get another one early next year. I had always assumed we would get a puppy but after visiting your site I will definately look at adopting. Thank you for what you do for them and for all the love you provide. They deserve it.
I like what you have done with these Boxer's....It shows that you guys take good care of these boxers ...I wish I could help but I have already a boxer and don't need any more....but if I find someone who wants a boxer I'll direct them too you..
thank you David
Thank-you for doing such a wonderful job with the boxer rescue. We currently have a 2-1/2 year old male brindle named George that we were fortunate to find from a lady having her first human child, and was concerned about having her Boxer in the house(??!!). Lori and I have been considering looking for a rescued fawn female to live with George, but are concerned with George's feelings with bringing another boxer into the house on a full-time basis as he is a tad sensitive. Is there perhaps any way we can assist you in your efforts, perhaps as a foster parent or some sort of volunteer to enable us to do a little more for these wonderful dogs without making our George too jealous? Please let us know if we can help.
Please keep me informed of any Fawn puppies. I'm so interested in adopting one.
I need your help. In March I found a wonderfull Boxer. She's about 21/2 years old. She had been lost for some time was very malnurished and much to my surprise very pregnant. I posted ads etc.. trying to find Jane Doe's owners but was unsuccessful. When the puppies arrived there were complications which resulted in a 3am visit to the pet emergency clinic and a $800.00 bill. The puppies (3 of 4 survived the delivery)looked like a Boxer Lab mix were very cute and have been placed in homes. I've had trouble placing Jane Doe. She's Housebroken, very playfull, Healthy again (and spayed now). It seems she likes to jump fences and run given the opportunity. She's excellent with children and likes to play with other dogs now that she's not prtecting puppies anymore. Loves to play and interact with people any time! My vet is also trying to help me find her a home. She's beautiful(her face is unbelievable I think), brindle colored, her ears are not cropped but her tail is and she weighs about 50 pounds. Can you help me find her a good home? I'm in a condo with one territorial little scnauzer and a long work day or I'd keep her myself. Any help would be appreciated.
Everything that you wrote it so true. I bought a Boxer 5 months ago and have never had a (DOG) like him ever. I truely think he thinks I am his mother. And my som his brother. I still dont know what part he considers my husband though. He is the by far the smartest dog i have ever seen. I just wanted to let you know which I am sure you know already that your info is perfect to a TEEE. Have a great day!!!!
