Hi! I'm one of Tyson's "Grandmas"....and can attest to him being one of the sweetest and cutests dogs I've ever known. We love to visit him (and his "parents" too, of course.) I wish he could come visit us in No. CA, but unfortunately, our pound-pup, Sasha, has never outgrown her dog-agression. She is a shepherd mix, 8 and a half years old, rescued at a year old. Tyson's story is great! I may even consider a boxer next time.
I have two boxers that are my world. I rescued one of them. I always search the internet on other boxer rescue sites just to look. Boxers make great pets, (or in my case, children).
I am looking for a female Boxer soon please email me if any thing thankyou
We got Gracy, a Boxer Mix, a year ago today. We went to the Boxer Rescue to get a white male Boxer and we came home with a black, small female Boxer Mix. The minute we saw her cute little bottom wiggle, we knew we had to have her. I have never had such a funny, caring, and loving dog in my life. She stays indoors, sleeps on our bed, and eagerly waits for us to get home. We will definitely come back to Boxer Rescue someday to get Gracy a friend!!!
Would love to visit and bring some toys and towels, etc. I have an 11 year old female beauty named Roxie.
You guys are doing a great job! Thank you so much for all your heard work!

Love Boxers Looking to adopt a young one.
Love your site. I hope we find a new family member through you.
On Jan. 9 we had to put our 12yr. old boxer to sleep. It was the hardest thing to do. We know we did the right thing because has was suffering but we miss him so much. We are looking for another boxer now because the house seems so empty. My 13yr. old son misses him. But it is my disabled husband who is lost. When I'm at work and our son at school, that is when he feels the loss the most. No matter where my son and I are, my husband always had "Dylan" by his side. My husband has had 9 back surgeries and even to the suprise of the doctors he is still able to walk. We can't afford much but I need to get my husband another companion.
Thank You for a great website, I was reading your "In Memory" ads and it brought tears to my eyes, being the Owner of Two great Boxers, I cant Imagine losing them and my heart is with all the people who have lost their beloved Boxers.... I have a Female Fawn Boxer who is almost 4 years old who has had 5 owners Im her 5th owner and her last she is my Baby Girl and the princess of the house. when me and my fiance rescued her she weighed 40 lbs and you could count every rib and see all the bones in her spine and her tailbone was even sticking out about 3 inches, she was infested with dirt and fleas.she was only fed once a day thanks to a neighbor of the people we got her from he is the one who got in contact with me to get her from these people if no one would have taken her by the winter time they were going to put her down, she is AKC registered and they treated her like dirt, I dont know nor do i understand how someone could treat something so special and precious as our Zelda Anne.I fell In love with the boxer breed after getting Zelda and we decided we wanted another one so we purchased a little White Male who is also our pride and Joy his name is Zeus Lee he just turned 3 months old and he is as rotten as ever always chewing and they both have so many toys in our home but they always go after the same one its quite a scene, and they bring us such joy, I Live in a lake resort and I cant wait to take them to the beach this summer and let them play in the water!!!!! Oh yea by the way Zelda has a clean bill of health and now weighs 75 lbs and our vet says we should put her on a diet and we have slowed her down but if she's happy thats all that matters to us.... thanks for your time and Goodluck to all who adopt BOXERS truly are the best breed in the world BOXERS ARE #1
Hello, I found your website very helpful as I am picking up my boxer puppy from a very successful breeder who runs the Boxer Rescue in North Wales, and I cant wait to have her as a part of our household. Thank you for all the advice on the site and all the best to all the boxers who are included. Thank You Mrs Sonya McGuigan
This has to be, without a doubt, the best suited breed for me and my wife. We are somewhat energetic people that find comedy in almost every situation. How little did I know that a boxer would add to that and then take it beyond. I have never looked into Casper's eyes without a smile..try it sometime, it is very difficult!
i did not put my tel no as i'm from england. i did have two boxer's one was ill treated, they gave me so much love and pleasure that the still remain in my heart after 10 years since there death it was good to read about happy endings, and please continue with your good work. best regards. ann french

Hi I just wanted to say I love your web site and that I was so glad to find it. My sister first told my about boxer rescue but at that time we only knew of one that is serving to the east coast states. Then I found this one through breeders.net. I have really been wanting another dog since my chow-chow passed away. I have strongly been leaning towards a boxer. The research I have done on them is what I want in a dog. I want protection, a family oriented dog and I also have a 10 year old son so child capatabiltie is a must. You have a great web site and some adorable dogs we especially like Mercy and Heidi. Thank you so much for your wonderful work in rescuing these dogs. God bless.
We had to put our boxer down about a year ago, she was 12 1/2. Both my husband and I grew up with boxers. It has taken a year to get over her and know we would like to fill the 'boxer" void in our life. We have 4 children who are also boxer lovers. We were just getting donuts and ran into a lady that rescued a boxer with you the boxer's name is Jenna. We look forward to the day we can resue another life long family member.
What an awesome job you are doing. We have 2 boxers father and daughter and getting ready to get our third also a daughter. Both females are full blooded sisters, I hope they will get along,we truly love the breed and could not imagine ever losing them. Any tips on training we could use some.
Your foundation is awesome!! I have been in love with boxers since I was a child. My wife and I would be honored in adopting on through your organization.
You are angels.
I recently adopted a boxer from the rescue in LA. I had some minor setbacks, but with some help and understanding from Ursula, we have made it, I believe. Tasha is doing well and has come to fit right in. I thank God every day that there are people like you all at boxer rescue that kept Tasha from being another Shelter story. Thank you! The Healey Family Wendy, Aaron, Austin, Emma, Bean & Marshall (cats) Boney and Tasha (not-so-boxer and Boxer)
If you ever come upon a baby boxer or any young age pleace contact me as soon as posible.
I myself just adopted a white boxer pup from a breeder in PA, I was not aware that he was deaf until after having home for 1-2 weeks. It is very sad, although he is in very good hands and will likely be very spoiled because of his disability. I appreciate the information you have given me on your web site
its really nice what your site is doing! i am looking for a miniture doxin. please send me any doxin dog that need a loving home.
HAVE A BOXER MIX 70 POUNDS I GOT FROM THE POUND 3 YEARS AGO HE LIVED WITH 2 OTHER DOGS AND 12 CATS NO KIDS I HAVE A NOW 10 YEAR OLD BUT GOT THEY DOG 3 YEARS AGO AND HE WAS GREAT WITH HIM SINCE THEN I HAVE GIVEN BIRTH AND MY BOXER IS GO GENTEL WITH MY BABY ITS AMAZING THERE GREAT
I have found Sasha (our boxer) to be quite a special addition to our family, but with us being military and relocating so much its hard to spend the time we should with her and yet she still loves us just the same. I only have a problem with her because she is so hyper. Her and my 20month old get along like sisters but when she plays she doesn't realize how much she can really hurt her. How can I teach her to be more gentle especially around the baby??
Just wanted to write and say how much I love hearing these great stories. I have a 13 year old Boxer named Tyson that one day saved my life. Tyson (my boxer) and I were walking in a new town I moved to. Before I knew it we were in a bad looking section of town when I was approuch by two other kids about 15 years of age. Tyson didn't have an intimidating apperance so they began to throw rocks at tyson and I. I fell to the ground after being hit in the head with a rock and as they ran toward me Tyson got into an attack position. I had never seen him do such a thing. One kid kicked me and the other was knocked to the ground by Tyson. I got up and started to run and as they chased me Tyson from behind them tripped them up knocking one into the other. This gave me plenty of time to run away. I don't know what I would have done without him. I'm a football coach now and have him at all my practices. He is still very strong, but suffered a broken when a truck hit him on a service road about 3 years ago. I am looking to adopted a younger boxer so that Tyson can show him the ropes out on my Ranch. Should one ever come available please contact me. Richie
We are interested in a young adult(1 1/2 yr. to 5 yrs old) , petite and gentle.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for having this wonderful organization (The Boxer Rescue).
My son/Boxer "Clay Pitts" is the best thing that has ever happened to me. You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. Clay will be 7 in May and he has had ligaments repalced in both back knees, a tumor removed from his inner ear and acts like he is two when I get home at the end of the day. He shows his pain when it gets a little cool, those knees will give him a fit for the rest of his life. I don't think I will be able to deal with his loss when that day comes. I don't think I could ever let my heart get close to another. Good luck to you. Sincerely, Rachel Pitts
Hi, I have been forwarded your article on "Cocoa Bean Mulch" and the hazdards of this mulch in being used in gardens around dogs. I know from experience, that this product is very dangerous around dogs and the smell of Chocolate and the Theobromine chemical in very strong and highly concentrated; dogs are eating this and becoming ill or dying. I have been trying to get the manufacturers of this mulch to put a warning label on the bags, but have been running into a wall with this. We need to have these companies put a label on this to warn owners not to use this around dogs. Even the garden centers who sell this are not aware of this. I almost lost a dog due to using this several years ago. Hopefully you can help us with getting these manufactures to be Warning Label on these bags!!! Thank you, Carole
My boxer dog, Bashful, died of cancer 2 1/2 years ago (I enjoyed her for 16 years) and I'm beginning to think that it's time to find another wonderful female Boxer. Bash was beautiful (a retired show dog that didn't take well to breeding, traveled with me (she was a true princess) and was my studying partner through school. So, I'm looking for a very special dog to adopt and to share my heart and home.
I love Boxers and I love all the ones you have theyre a great breed and truly can be your best friend
I once had a boxer and will have one some day in future (but not right now).
