I have a wonderful, white male (intact)Boxer named Brewster. He is 6 years
old/75 pounds/exceptionally "tall"/very, very handsome ... everyone says so! I
am leaving Denver and need to find a loving home for him. Although mature, he is

I found your web site when I visited Elaine Boosler's site. I am a Boxer lover
since my teens - more than 50 years ago - and have had several Boxers throughout
my life. God Bless you for your efforts in rescuing, and finding good homes for,
the most beautiful breed of companion. We recently lost our beloved Gretchen who
we had rescued when she was 12 weeks old. She passed on after sharing 10 1/2
joyful years with us. We still mourn her loss and are not ready to get another
dog, but, if, and when, we do, it will be a Boxer. God Bless you.

WE NEED HELP!!! Two years ago, we adopted a beautiful fawn boxer female and
named her Aubrey. She was taken from our home and was gone for over eighteen
months. In that time, we recued a cane corso, Nero, from an SPCA in New Jersey.
After an absence of over eighteen months, Aubrey was placed back in our yard,
looking emaciated, battered and bruised. The vet informed us she had been bred
at least once, maybe twice. We nursed her back to health, both physically and
mentally, because she had obviously been abused and required slow integration
back into our family of two young children (7 & 2 years old). Unfortunately, she
and Nero have not gotten along so well. The fighting between the two has been a
constant since Aubrey's return. I'm sure she feels violated at the presence of
another dog in "her" home. It breaks my heart. I have since had to separate the
two of them constantly after months of attempting to ease them into a more
harmonious relationship. I have conceeded that it is not going to be possible.
They alternate with crate and outside time, separate and apart; however, Aubrey
is not doing so well in the crate. She has recently taken to chewing on her tail
to relieve her nervous energy. She is accustomed to full time attention from my
family and the shifts of time between she and Nero appear not to be enough for
her. She is three years old, extremely smart, loves loving and being loved and
she is wonderful with both of my children. Even my youngest who can be very
aggressive with his displays of affection. Aubrey is extremely tolerant and
attentive to the needs of the varying age groups in my home. I love her and
can't bear the thought of giving her up, but I can no longer keep her as it is
doing heer more harm than good. Nero is an older dog with stomach problems that
require regular medical attention and therefore a financial responsibility that
makes him harder to place. Aubrey is a sweetie that would be a blessing to a
loving home, although her hyperactivity should be seriously considered. I am
pleading for any serious inquiries about her in order to insure a quality
lifestyle for a quality girl. Please e-mail at your earliest convenience.

In loving memory of our beloved Rocko. Thanks to Boxer Rescue and the staff. We
loved our boxer/chow that unfortunatly had to leave us, I was so heart broken
that we decided to get another dog to take away some of the pain. Me and my
husband came to your rescue and found Oscar :) He has been so wonderful and
filled that void that was needed. Oscar is so wonderful and playful. There's
times I don't think he is a dog but human. His demenor is unreal. He loves to
talk to me and is the most loving dog there is. 80 pounds and just wants to sit
on my lap while watching T.V, just like a little kid. Thanks to your rescue we
are all so happy!!!! Oscar sends his love to all his doggy buddies. We love are
boxer so much I dont think we will have anything but Boxers from here on in.
Just like Rocko, I have found that Boxers are very playful and outspoken. They

I couldn't read all of your stories, they are too moving for me, the "mother" of
14 years old boxer girl Alex. She is in very good shape as good as it's possible

I own a Boxer named "Jewel" and am completely in LOVE!! Since having a Boxer I
am completely dedicated to the breed. I would definately adopt if I could. I
will adopt as soon as I buy a house but right now I am renting a house and I had
to BEG the owner to let me have Jewel. (Not that I would ever go anywhere
without her) I happen to own a salon and would be very interested in having some
sort of something where I can educate my clients about the rescue and hopefully
donate money from me and clients(or whoever wants to donate) every month. Please

We got our "Sammy" from Ursula in Nov, 1995. Our family had to crawl up the 405
to meet Ursula, she brought with her two Boxers, a older male and a scrawny
female. We were really set on a female boxer( had one as a kid - Touche')so we
took her home with us. As we all know Boxers are very special and we were truly
blessed for 8 wonderful years. In her "career" Sammy achieved the rank of
sargent. Early in her career she rose through the ranks quickly, but due to some
of her "quirks" we learned she was not gonna be an "officer". We loved her just
the same and are enternally grateful for you guys getting her from the pound and
saving her life.

It has been a painful experience for us to let go of a love one. Through Boxer

What a wonderful website! My family has bread boxers for a long time. We
actually stopped when the last of our champions passed away 3 years ago. He
lived to the age of 13 and our hearts shattered when his time came. The hardest
part about owning a boxer is the amount of love you end up having for them. It
astonishes and disgusts me that there are so many wonderful boxers that are
disposed of like garbage. Yet, the boxer's spirit never fades. They are amazing
creatures! We went "boxerless" for a year and a half because we mourned the
passing of our very special boy so mcuh. I started getting the itch to move on
and knew that adoption was the only way to go. I needed to give somethin back to
the breed that filled my heart with so much joy. We adopted our "Chloe" from a
local shelter and she made our hearts whole again. She has brought the life back
into our home and has given us endless love and laughter. She is quite the
comedian!!! I look at all of these boxers and wish I could take every last one
of them. But, Chloe insists on being the queen and will not take kindly to
another dog intruding on her domain. Anyways, I just wanted to thank all of the
people who donate to this worthy cause.

I have never had the privilege of owning a boxer, but after all I have read
about the breed, they seem to be almost the perfect dog that I've been looking
for. I hope that soon I will have the living arrangements to support adopting
one of these beautiful friends. In the meantime,I'll have to hope that there is
