i love boxers!!!!!!!!!!! if you saw a dog name Cloe that was adoupted thanks
I've read a number of your stories and visited a number of your sites. I am a Boxer owner and I could never move somewhere my dogs (and cats) couldn't be. They are my family and there is no way I could ever abandon any of them. I've had Boxers for a little over 3 years now. I've had many other breeds in my life but Boxers are something special. Gracie (my 3 year old) is such a personality, I decided we needed another one. George is 11 weeks old, white, and deaf. He may not hear words, but he "hears" faces and he hears love. He is learning signs and he's doing pretty good. I already have him in puppy obedience classes with a trainer I've used before and who uses positive reinforcement. The only aversive method she uses involves a very lightweight bean bag. I like your site because of all the information I've been able to get. I never would have known about not feeding raisins or macadamia nuts to my dogs but for your health tips; and I had been considering cocoa mulch for some of my landscaping until I read the health tip about that. I would like to be involved in some of your events if I could. Beware, I HATE driving from Riverside to LA, but if my dogs can come, I'd probably do it. Gracie's favorite place to go in the whole wide world is "bye-bye." George likes to go wherever Gracie goes. He's still learning car manners and will soon have to figure out he can't live on my lap (at 8 weeks he was 10 lbs; 10 weeks, 15 lbs; today (at 11 weeks) he weighed in at 18.4 lbs). I could use all the information I can get about allergies and ear infections in Boxers. Gracie gets chronic ear infections, usually yeast; and George has an ear infection now. I think he also has allergies (he sneezes a lot) and wheezes and whistles through his nose. He also snores like a drunken sailor. I know, he sleeps with me. I know that ear infections are prevalent in floppy eared dogs and neither of mine have been nor will they be cropped. I'd like as much information about preventative measures as well as what types of allergies these precious angels are prone to. Gracie does have some food allergies so I have to be careful with what she eats, but I think George may have environmental allergies, and he gets those red "tear stains" under his eyes that seem to come and go. Anyway, any information would be truly appreciated. Thanks for a great site. I have it bookmarked at work and at home. Robin Rosenberg-Kubek

interested in possible adoption of boxer or mixed boxer.
What a great web site. Very informative. I have a boxer mix and couldn't have asked for a better dog. My dog got pet of the day on the internet. If interested. Click below. http://www.PetoftheDay.com/archive/1998/March/24.html I believe in rescuing dogs. There is no need to buy one. You can get great ones at the pound or rescues. My next dog will be a boxer or boxer mix. Thanks, Sincerely, Janine Medlin
Boxers are the Best. Looking for another. Thank you Raymond

Thanks to Boxer Rescue BC, Max now shares my home and my life. Max is a strikingly beautiful flashy brindle Boxer, 3 years old. He is as lovable, playful and friendly as a Boxer can be. Max is my buddy, my best friend and constant companion. He has inexhaustible resources of love and affection - and also of energy and fun. You can see him here: http://www.qsl.net/ab4oj/max/max.html Adam
I have always thought boxer's was a mean dog until Feburary of 2002 when my husband and I was looking for a family dog. When we saw a boxer I thought they was very pretty or handsome and Very friendly so I knew a boxer would be our family pet. My husband called and told me to be ready because he had found 2 females and wanted me to pick her out. One was the fawn with white markings and the other was white with fawn markings and a blue eye. When she looked at me she stoled my heart, I had to have her. So she was the first of our boxers her name is Daisy, she just became a first time mommie of 4 (we lost our little one (runt) at birth on 5-5-03. Her mate is fawn with a black mask (very handsome, and proud papa). We plan on keeping one of the females she was born with a birth defect, her right back leg didn't develope like the others. We have named her Lady Lexie. I am sure these won't be the olny boxers that will be in our lives. They are the best dogs to have around kids and adults.
I was just visiting your website because I am missing my white Boxer named "Lily". She is 6 years old and very special to me. Some recent events in my life made it very difficult for me to keep her so I gave her up to a perfectly wonderful couple who love her a lot and will continue to let me be a part of her life. It is still agony for me to be separated from her for even a moment let alone weeks at a time. Thank you to you that I can always visit your website to pick up my spirits when they are done. I love seeing all of the great stories and realizing that you all love your Boxers as much as I love mine.
Does anyone have any advice on dealing with Boxer slobber and flatulance? My boyfriend has a two year old male Boxer called Fergus. Fergus constantly covers himself and the furniture in drool, especially when he shakes his head. Is there a way to train a Boxer not to shake his head? or a way to deal with the drool?
Quite interesting to say the least, love the graphics and design...excellent format!!!!! Will be back http://www.spinzone.org/

SO FAR THE ONLY MEDICATION THAT TRUDY HAS BEEN GIVEN IS SULFASALAZINE. THE BLOOD IN THE FECES SEEMS TO ONLY BE GETTING MORE FREQUENT. PLEASE HELP IF POSSIBLE; DO YOU KNOW OF ANYONE OR ANY RESOURCES IN THE AUGUSTA/AIKEN AREA FOR BOXERS WITH CONDITION???

It's so sad to see all these dogs forgotten and abused. I adopted 2 boxers from a local rescue and they are the best dogs I could have ever asked for. They have so much love and thanks to return.
boxers rock
We have been looking at boxers for almost a year, Picasso really caught our eye, and we are wondering if we can come and meet him? Where are you located and do you have visiting hours?
Last saturday, 6-21-03, we came down to the resue and were lucky enough to meet Pup. We loved her immediately and brought her home. The kids renamed her Macy and she is now a wonderful part of the family. She is a great dog. She loves to play in the yard and go on walks. Thank you for helping so many families find these dogs.
nna i dey here oooooooooooooo
To everyone at Boxer Rescue LA: Thank you for your day in and day out labor of love. I don't know how you do it, but I am so very grateful that you do. My husband and I have had 3 of the most incredible Boxers from BRLA. They have given us more joy and laughter than we can begin to tell you. Again, we can not thank you enough for all that you do. God bless you always, Linda Magglos
My fiance and I were at the adoption center just yesterday with his sister.. We were very please with the volunteers that helped us find the perfect dogs for her.. She ended up adopting Arlo and Tara who are now Porter and Lady... Your trainer that was on duty Joe was totally awesome and sooooo helpful... I think that she is going to be very happy with these two and they have an awesome home and a very loving family... Please let us know if you ever need anyone to pick up a dog in the Orange county area and deliver it to you... If we are at all able to we would at least like to help in that way... Again the experience was great and the volunteers were awesome with the dogs... Thank you..
