Looking to adopt
Would like to visit your rescue center. WE rescued a beautiful loving fawn 5 year old boxer from the pound a month ago. Unfortunately he wants to eat our 4 year female old beagle. He is clearly a companion dog. An absolute lover! He adores my husband and I as we do him. When he arrived he was boney and his hair was all scruffy. He has now filled out and has a shiney new coat. We will be meeting with an animal behaviorist tomorrow morning to access if the two dogs might ever get along. After investigating from other boxer owners, I feel in my broken heart that they will not. I am seven months pregnant and am not sure if I will be able to have the time to inforce the two dogs relationship. It pains us to have to give him up. I came across your site, and was overwhelmed with happiness that there are such loving people as your selves to help these wonderful animals. We are certain that we wouldlike a second dog, but with the baby coming and the two dogs already not getting along, we know for sure that Kaiser is not the dog for our family. We love him soooooo much, but we will have to find him a home. LA rescue would be first on my list to take him. The success rate of your adoptions are quite impressive, and he is such a good, smart loving dog that I am confident that he will adopt himself. We would be interested in adopting, donating, and volunteering our time( after the baby) to your shelter. We were impressed with a few of the dogs you had listed. I will fill out an adoption form, and we will be contacting your facility after we meet with the behaviorist tomrrow morning. We love Kaiser soooo much. I really believe that he is a little piece of GOd. All he wants is to be loved and to find a home he can call his own. He is soo happy with us, but ABbey our Beagle is getting the shaft by contnuously being locked up in a bedroom, or the garage when ever Kaiser is around. It's not fair to her or him. Please help us find KAiser a home where he can be the boss, and kick back and live a peaceful life. HELP!!! Broken hearted! Karen Shaver
Great site who is the web master ?
I want to thank you for putting up this website. I have a boxer myself and i love him to death. He's white with a brown and black patch around his left eye. He's only 6 months old. He's a little terror but i love him anyway. He is the second boxer I've owned and i love this breed. i think that this is going to be my dog through out my life. Thank you so much. i love your site.
I am a mother of a 2 year old boy named Sebastian and a 3 year old loving boxer named Jake. Jake is a mahogany red fawn with a black mask, weighing in at about 79 pounds!!!! I found your site because of the story about Buster who was rescued from Florida after being beaten by his owners boyfriend...how sickening. I used to live in LA and still have close friends there. But after falling in love while visiting home about 4 years ago, I moved back to NY and married my husband. The very first thing we wanted ....was a boxer. He is healthy and perfect and the most wonderful animal I could have ever asked for. He is unusually lazy for the breed , but very loyal and wonderful with our son. I am in contact with Second Chance Boxer Rescue here in NY. I hope to voulunteer for them one day, when I am not so busy!!!!! I am glad to know you are out there helping!!!
Your work and the sharing of it through this web site is remarkable! Thanks you for such endless devotion and compassion for those needy ones.
I adopted an adorable boxer pup about 2 months ago who you guys at the kennel refered to as Mousse and hes doing great. He got over his kennel cough and hes growing and playful and lovable as ever. I think the boxer rescue program is awesome and you guys don't get enough credit!!!!
I rescued an adorable white female(ally-gurl)from A cruel neighbor that fancied kicking her and keeping her in A portable, travel kennel all day.Right or wrong,I felt obligated to teach him how those kicks felt.Went to jail for it,but would do it again.I love my girl, and so does her brother(capone)A large fawn male
Looking to adopt a female Boxer. I have older kids so she would have lots of playmates and trainers. We found a young female puppy and fell in love. Her owner re-claimed her a few days later. We were impressed with her intellilgence and behavior for only being 4m old. Other boxers we know seem to be very simular in personality. E-Mail me

My beautiful Pug was killed by a groomer 3 weeks ago.. He died from heat stroke.....My heart is broken and I would like these people to pay for their mistake...
I would just like to tell you that i admire all of you who do the rescue, and those who rescue. If i could, i would adopt a boxer. Also, I feel for those of you who have lost a dog... i know how it feels! We lost our boxer on Feb. 27 2003. It was the hardest thing in the world!! I would just like to say thank you to those of you at boxer rescue for showing me how great people can be, and for showing me how screwed up others can be by surrendering their dogs because "they get sick of them".
Looking to adopt a female about 1-1 1/2 years old. Good with kids, eager to please and respond to training. We have a 11 year old son, Jase, who wants this to be his responsiblity to train and take care of, of course the dog will be the whole family's but we will let everyone know it is Jase's dog.
I HAVE JUST RECENTLY ADOPTED A DEAF WHITE BOXER AND BEFORE NOW, I HAD NEVER EVEN SEEN A WHITE BOXER OR EVEN MET A DEAF DOG, THANK YOU FOR THE VERY INFORMATIVE WEB PAGE !!!!!
I visited the boxer rescue booth at the PetExpo in Orange County a few weeks. I saw Bella and immediately wanted to take her home. We have a 6-year boxer female named Magic who is quite dear to us, she is a very lovable, friendly dog. She has had leg surgery on both legs and recovered well from it. She also has pancreatitis which gave us a scare a few months ago. We are currently maintaining her on a Waltham diet that is special for her condition. I wonder if anyone has adopted Bella yet?

Boxers are the best dogs in the world! We have two small children, and she plays the role of the second mommy. She is very protective, but would never hurt anyone. Even people who don't like dogs, can't help to fall in love with her. I would recommend a boxer to anyone!
my home number is 818-776-9434

Hi My name is Sharon and I have a beautiful 4 year old tiger striped baby girl named Mia. she is the love of my life and make me a better person. I am looking for a sister or a brother for her and unsure how she will act, she has been an only child since she came home with me at the age of 6 weeks Any infomation or advise would be greatly welcomed I love your website and will tell others about it and the wonderful work you are doing to help out these little angels. Thanks Sharon
I have a deaf white boxer who is crate trained and she loves to get into the trash and a lot of other things that she is not supposed to.So my mother tells us to either tie her on her leash outside or put her in her crate.Otherwise we (the 10 people in my house) take her by the mouth and shake our head no.My cousin Sara went to pick her up for us though because she was the one who told my mother about her.She knew about our puppy because she has one of her own which is partialy deaf.We wouldn't have had this puppy which we named Avalanche if our other 1 year old german shephard mix with beagle wasn't hit by a car.Since then my mother has been looking for another puppy and we were blessed with the one we have right now.We also have a 10 year old mutt who does not get along with Avalanche but thank you Sara for this deaf puppy. We all love her.
great site!!!!
I recently unexpectedly aquired a sweet little boxer female puppy. Before I visited this website I knew nothing about this breed or what to expect from her. This site and program seems to be really wonderful, hopefully they will help me place this female into a permanent loving home! Thanks again
Keep up the wonderful work. We adopted a special needs female appx 10 years ago from Ursula. She was a Brindle who had been tortured and set on fire by a couple of kids and practiclly starved to death. We had many great years with her before her heart finally gave out. We still keep here picture in a frame and miss her deaply. We are looking to adopt again.
I rescued my current boxer, renamed to Windy, about 7 years ago. She is still the love of my life and such a sweetie! She's slowed down (about 9 years old) but still running around. Thanks to Boxer Rescue!
