We are a 58 year old couple who have had Boxers our entire lives. Since we currently do not have a dog,We are thinking of adapting a Boxer.
What a great site! What a bunch of beautiful boxers for adoption!!!!! Mommy of Sadie and Bailey (both rescue boxers)
i just wanted to say i love boxers.
I just wanted to thank you for all of your good work. I have adopted two boxers from the shelter over the years. Rufus, my beloved friend of seven years had to be put to sleep last month following a hard fight against cancer. He is missed more than words can say & seeing your tributes just made me cry for all of the others that, for other reasons, are no longer here. Keep up the good fight against breeders-support spay & neuter, educate & encourage the uneducated to adopt versus "buy", and a difference will come. Sincerely, Ashley Kahsaklahwee
You have done a good job.
Your doing a great job. Keep it up.
We brought Molly (formerly sasha) home about two weeks ago and it wasnt a day later that our 1 and 4 year olds allergies went through the roof. At least thats what we thought. Dreading the possibility of having to take her back we decided to give it some time and just maybe it was coincidence. Thank God it was! What a cool dog. Everywhere we take her its " what a good looking dog". The staff at BRLA couldnt have made a finer choice for us. Thanks For Everything Andersons
I wanted to get some info on your adoptions. Such as how much I would have to pay for the adoption and shipping.
I Love boxers.
My husband and I have been wanting a boxer for quite some time now. We've read all about them and decided those are the dogs for us. I read some of your stories and makes me now realize we want a boxer that needs rescuing.

HI EVERYONE ! WE PICKED OUR LOVELY GIRL, KELLY, YESTERDAY, AND JUST LOVE HER! I DO NEED SOME INFO, THOUGH, ABOUT HER BACKGROUND: THE TYPE OF HOME SHE CAME FROM.... ANY SHOTS REQUIRED ? WAS SHE SPAYED? WHEN WAS SHE BORN...HER BIRTH-DATE, AGE (NOT SURE WHETHER SHE WAS 2 OR 3 YEARS OLD) NO ONE SEEMED TO KNOW TO MUCH ABOUT HER, AND WE SURE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW. SHE SEEMS TO HAVE HAD SOME TRAINING, AND IS VERY WELL BEHAVED, SO WE ARE VERY PLEASED ABOUT THAT! WE WERE TOLD SHE WAS AT THE KENNEL FOR 2 WEEKS, AND WE WERE WONDERING IF THIS IS NORMAL FOR SOME OF THE DOGS, OR WAS SHE RETURNED FOR SOME REASON? THANK YOU KINDLY FOR ANYTHING YOU CAN TELL US ABOUT HER. SHE IS A WONDERFUL DOG! SINCERELY, Lasette
My boyfriend brought a "dog" into my previously dogless life. I never had any desire to own a dog nor did I ever think that I would like one. "JAKE" was adopted through your organization in Pamona CA. aprox 5 yrs ago. He is the most handsome brindle dog I have ever met. He has been my best friend from the day we met. I will always thank you for all the good you do and for all the homes you find for these very deserving friends. love from JAKE

What a great site! I have been watching it for years and I am impressed by how many dogs you help! As a boxer lover I am happy to see that one of the best breeds of dogs are getting the homes they deserve!
We are looking for a boxer puppy, but would consider other options.
Too many boxers(pets/strays) are going without love and a good home! My sister owned a boxer and I fell in love( Tessa Dog saved my sisters family from a house fire)! Boxers are smart, lovable, and full of energy! I believe I would make a good parent and having a boxer in the family would complete us!
My family had the boxer when I was a child. My brother lost his eyesight to diabetes when he was 22 and was fortunate to have had 3 guide dogs and all of them were boxers. My parents have rescued two boxers and I have a two different boxers over the last 21 years. My "baby" is now 12 years old and suffering from a heart problem and has just been diagnosed with a tumer near his lung. I can't imagine not having a boxer in my home and will rescue my next one.
Our belove brandie died Wednesday at the age of 12.5 we would like to know how to put her picture and story on the memory page.
Almost two weeks ago I lost my best freind, Lefty, a male boxer which had been abandoned when he was approx. 8 mos. old. I asked him if he'd like to come stay with me and be my buddy. He agreed and a few days later we were at the vet's to have him checked out and get his shots up to date. The doc gave him a clean bill of health but added thier was one thing I should be aware of. Only one of his testicles had dropped to it's normal position and the other would have to be removed surgically when it was time for him to be spayed. The next day he enthusiastically led the way, as we walked and I pondered what the doc had said, when suddenly it became obvious what Lefty's name would be. Over the following months we became best freinds and that year I bought him a pair of roller blades for Christmas. When I put them on (my feet) and attached the leash to his new harness, it's hard to describe his joy as he discovered that I could keep up and together we could romp through the neighborhood to his hearts content. That was Lefty's favorite activity because when he was pulling me along we were attached and enjoying the moment together. One day when he was about two, Lefty started having seizures, the vet gave us pills for him and said they would make the seizures manageable. They helped a lot and it for a while everything was ok. When Lefty was about 3 1/2 after we had a particurlarly fun weekend together I got a call saying Lefty had suffered a fatal seizure. And just like that, he was gone. For two weeks I've gone around with this horrible lump in my throat and I hate to think I'll never see him again, the idea just seems unacceptable. I know I was priviliged to have him for a friend, Lefty was the happiest dog I've ever known & each day around him seemed to be a celebration of life. I guess I'll start saving up to buy a puppy, I think thats what he would want me to do, I know he would hate to see my, (his) skates in the corner gathering dust. I promise that any future post will be of a more cheerfull nature.
I read the story on Windsor and I want Peter to know that my first rescue boxer was a senior too and the love of my life. My only regret is that I didn't rescue him sooner! I love your site and all you guys do. I am with Florida Boxer Rescue.
I have a 1 year and 6 months old pedigree (with papers), spayed brindle boxer. Her name's "Maya". I am looking for a home for Maya. My schedule is getting more and more hectic. Please help me find a warm, loving home for Maya.
Hi, It's been awhile since I've visited. When I recieved your news letter about Lady I was heart broken. And still am. I've even asked my husband if we could be foster parents but all he said is we might get to attached. And His mother might not like that. The reason why he took Lady with out me Knowing. There's still not one day that I don't think of her and how much she must of missed us. It really hurt when he told me and couldn't do anything to get her back because. I still would have the problem with his mother. But I hope Lady is well and hasn't done any of her escaping trick. I worry about her every day. I still have all her toy, packed in a box. And her coller on the bed post.My duaghter misses her very much and always asks if we could get a dog. But knows we can't. Just wanted to let you kbnow we haven't forgotten her. And never will. Love You Always Lady!! Camara Family
I LOVE boxers! Please if any one knows of a male boxer puppy like very young that needs a home. Or a female. I WANT ONE!!!!
We have two boxers a borther and sister we enjoy them very much. And there get along with the other two dogs. We are stray dog owners as all of our dog have been strays but the boxers were not a buddy dog had pups and I got a male and he was a hit at home right away. But went to buddies house and he still had 3 pups left and one of females was being pick on by the other pups as she was the runt. So I felt sorry for her and took her home too. We will be boxer owner from here on out.

I HAD SPOKE WITH PERSON FROM OUR LOCAL SAVE A PET . STATED THAT I WOULD LIKE TO ADDOPT A BOXER IF ONE BECAME AVALABLE .TODAY I GOT TO PICK-UP DAISY . SHE IS ALL WHITE AND, ALREADY IS LOVED VERY MUCH ,AND A DEAR FRIEND. WHAT THE BREEDERS WOULD CALL A MISFIT BUT A PERFECT PET FOR ME.
I was touched by the picture of Sacchi. He's a beautiful dog. Sacchi seems sad and confused, as if he is heartbroken. I hope you find him a good home. I would take him if I could. I am not able to contribute at this time. I have you on my Christmas list. I also have two questions. Do boxers get along with cats? I have two house cats. How big of a fenced yard does a boxer need? I currently live in a condo with no yard. Michele

looking for a new born boxer
I love to look at boxer pictures. I have a beautiful 1-1/2 yr brindle male, Archie Moore (a heavyweight boxer in the 50's). He has such a great personality I'm thinking about getting another boxer from a rescue. I'm not sure, however, Archie is ready to share his mom and dad. Do you know of any boxer rescues in Washington State? None that I can find. Great site.
I admire your so much for helping these abandoned and left behind boxers. I have a 4yr. old neutered male whom I love more than life itself. I would like to help in some way. When our family is able to we will adopt from la boxer rescue. Could I do something from here? Sincerely, Lesa
I just wanted to say that this is a great site that you guys have going here. I have a boxer mix myself and it is great to see that there are other people out there who love boxers as much as I do. You guys are doing a great job! :o)

My x-girlfreind left me last christmas, She took Momo with her. We lived on my boat for a year.(Mo was a brindle male about ten years old.) although she was nice to look at,and good to talk to in the begining. The love and devotion and unsurpassed greatness of MO is the moast painfull loss a man could go through. He was never mean on purpose.
I'M VERY INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ONE THE BOXERS THAT YOU HAVE.I'LL BE EXPECTING A RESPONSE TO MAKE AN APPOINMENT TO FINALLY SEE SOME OF THEM.THANKS.
