Our boxer, Maya, died two days ago of an enlarged tumor that crushed her heart. We miss her terribly. We are going Friday morning to find another boxer at a boxer rescue. Many thanks to all of you who volunteer to make boxer rescue possible.

Wow!! I just happend to be surfing the Boxer Sites as I generally do once a month and this time found your site. I will be in the LA area this weekend and upcoming week and will be calling to try and come by. I really do wish to adopt a Boxer for my family. We have been looking for about five months now and your Rescue Program seems to be the correct way for us as a family and for the dogs.

I do hope to be able to contact someone via the telephone in hopes to stop by while in town.

Thank you very much for your efforts in rescueing pets and trying to find a better home for them.

I just want to express my years of happiness that I had with my boy. I remember going and picking up my white boxer, I remember Ursula saying he didnt have a name, so I gave him a name (thinking fast) "Petie". I didnt think it fit him very well, altho he did look like the dog on the little rascals. I later changed it to "Boobie", how that name came about dont ask me, It stuck for wonderful, loving, spoiled life he had. I know all things must come to an end,he passed in Dec 1999 he was 9 years old. I want to thank Ursula for giving me the chance to adopt my best friend, "Boobie".

He was rust-color, strong and masculine, confident, yet there was a gentleness on his face. This was a boxer I saw several years ago; obviously still vivid in my mind.

Recently, I've been thinking about becoming a dog-owner. I just began my research on the boxer. I am so thrilled to have found this website! It has answered some of my preliminary questions about whether such a breed would be happy to live with me. What I've discovered thus far is that the more I read about the boxer, the more I realize that I'm falling in love with this dog. It's funny to me how the boxer's personality seems to parallel mine. We probably all think this way.

I am looking to adopt a boxer within this year, which I hope to do from your organization.

We recently adopted a female fawn boxer from L.A. and they drove her all the way to Phoenix. She is so lovable and gets along great with our male boxer, and our kids. My wife and I have a great 3 yr old boxer ("vegas") who we adopted from a family that did not know what to expect from the breed. He has been with us for two years, and we love him. We are looking to adopt another one, to give Vegas some company.
