i have a 8yr old male boxer who is wonderful, but my father is forcing me to get rid of him. contact me if you are interested....please, i beg of you.
I love my male boxer as much as i love my own kids. He was tied to a tree, starved and left for a few days in a city near Alton,Il. My husband found him at the humane society. We brought him home to our family and he has been the light and happiness in what was a very sad time. Our son was brain injured in a bus accident, left severly disabled. Elvis has brought him around and our son and this dog are best of friends!! I LOVE this breed best!
Thank you for the wonderful information on boxers. There is a boxer mix at my local shelter which I am considering adopting. I didn't go into the shelter looking for a dog but as soon as I came eye to eye with this wonderful dog, I haven't been able to stop thinking about her. That was two days ago and I will be going back to the shelter tomorrow to see if she is still there. If not, because of her and because of the information and stories you have provided, I will definitely consider a boxer (from a rescue facility of course) as a future companion. Thanks again!
My family and I have a wonderful boxer, "DEMPSEY" she is a 3 year old fawn. She is the best thing that has happened to us. I had always wanted a boxer, I have always loved the appearance and manner and spirit. We called a local facility and found a boxer to adopt, we adopted her into our family, She has adjusted so well, You would of thought that we had born her ourself. She is spolied rotten. My children love to play with her in the yard, she is simply an awesome dog. She is very intelligant, has amazing spirit, and she is full of energy, perfect match for 3 boys who love to play ball with her. I think a boxer is a wonderful addition to any family. We truley love her, she is amazing. If you have considered a boxer in the past and you want a great companion, then you should give a boxer a chance! Suwanee, Ga Bridget Brown
I love boxers! I have one as of now but plan to get more! His name is Cobra's First Strike or Kobie for short. He is a fawn and white male with a wonderful personality! He was born May 23rd 2000 and is just over 4 months. He is by Zeus Thunder Wonder and out of Princess Shipley. Thanks for reading! :D
would love to adopt one but i live in colorado...they are all precious.....specially ralphie
Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help out! Here in WY there are lots of homes but few rescue Boxers(like Canada) Please spread the word that rescue is here too. I just started working with Marita in Denver and Bekah in Ft. Collins CO-I'm sure they will help put GREAT dogs in GREAT homes up here in WY! Thanks for the help you give the best breed out there!(not that I show favoritism!) Kelly Farmer

Dearest Ursula, Joe and all the awesome Volunteers:
Almost 2 weeks ago our family visited your facility and came home with "Brandy",a wonderful young female who loves everyone she meets. She had come from the Hermosa Beach animal shelter. She appears to be a boxer mix (Ursula, you said maybe beagle). What ever she is, we already love her dearly!
You are doing a woderful thing at Boxer Rescue and I take every opportunity to recommend it to anyone who asks where we adopted Brandy. She is the lift our family needed after losing both of our dogs within a 6 month period. She especially loves our two boys! She's not at all crazy about putting on her leash or getting into the car, but we do it daily and she's tolerating it much better. Once again, thank you for what you do for these beautiful and loving creatures!!!!!

We lost our boxer Willie about 1 year ago. It's taken about this long for me to begin to start looking for another one. I check the shelters periodically, but would like to see if you already have one that needs adoption. They are unquestionably the most awsome breed in the world. I have 2 children and would trust no other dog around them.
Am very interested in adopting a female boxer puppy.
I LOVE BOXERS!!!! NIKKI IS MY AND MY SON'S SUPPORT SYSTEM
I have tow wonderful boxers, Newman (faewn-raised him from a breeder as a pup, and Jake (brindle a rescue honor....anything I can do to improve their wa o life ad longevity of the survival would be an honor....
What a wonderful thing you are doing to save these wonderful Boxers !!!! They are the absolute best breed in my opinion ! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
I loved your site, I my self use to own boxers but my life style now wont let me.. Iam in the military and get deployed periodically. I couldnt leave one of my babies with just anyone and my family lives in Ca. So i had to find them new homes. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do. But as soon as i get out Iam going to find a new boxer Baby...I hope I can find one to adopt..
I have a beautiful 1 year old Boxer named Nini. She's my first Boxer and now I love the breed. I've had her since she was 10 days old. She was given to me because she had an eye infection (which resulted in her losing her eye). She's such a happy dog and brings so much joy into my life. I can't imagine life without her. Your site is on my "favorites" list. I love looking at the pictures of the dogs and reading about them. My next Boxer will come from you. Thank you for your hard work and devotion.
A couple of years ago, we had to make the hard decision of giving up our boxer, Scooby do your association. I was wondering if you had any record of him and how he's doing?
I rescued a male Boxer last November 99 from the West Valley Animal Shelter, I would love to volunteer some time each week in the kennels. Please give me a call if I could be of any help. I have experience with dog grooming.
