I have had two boxers in my lifetime. My first one was a brendle, Dixie, and my second one was a fawn. His name was Sampson and we recently had to put him to sleep. He was with us for seven wonderful years. I was wondering if you could also E-mail my mother with any information. Her address is CHBABYSITTER@Earthlink.net. She is in Decatur Illinois and her telephone number is (217)429-4166. Thank you for having such a wonderful organization. I wish there were more out there just like it.
Ursulla. we adopted our boy from you back in April of 2000. He, along with our other boxer girl, is the love of our lives! The 2 of them have taken over our house and we just love them to pieces. I was so excited to see that Shadow has finally found himself a home. He is the main reason that I kept coming back to this site. I think what all of you need to be commended for your hard work and dedication, just know that none of you will ever be forgotten in our hearts!!
Our pet boxer died about 4 years ago. We were very heartbroken. My kids are now asking for another boxer. Started looking about a week ago.
Please call (you have my number) or email - I want to continue to volunter my time as I have in the past. Thanks for all your hard work and support for all the boxers.
We have recently taken in a boxer that was to be put down - we are unable to keep him - he needs a yard with a fence and he is very shy and is in need of lots of love and attention. He is underweight and needs to be seen by a vet - He is a beautiful dog- fawn & white - we would appreciate any information you can post to help find Jake a good home. He is approx 2 years old and is potentially a wonderful companion to some caring individual- Thank You, Jackie
WE HAVE A 6 YEAR OLD BOXER NAMED JASMINE AND SHE IS SO BEUTIFUL. EVERYONE LOVES HER. SHE LOVES CHILDREN AND IS SPOILED ROTTEN. I THINK ALOT OF YOU ALL FOR WHAT YOUR DOING BY RESCUING THESE BABYS. THANKYOU TANIA AND MIKE ENGLER
We lost our baby 4 yrs ago to splenic cancer and came looking for a new dog a few weeks later. We were not ready yet, even though Ursula had some wonderful dogs. I am happy to see that your facilities have grown. I know Ursula along with many others have worked very hard to get where you are today. Congratulations on all you have accomplished!!! As soon as I have a permanent home ( no longer renting) I will be down there looking for a new best friend. My mom is also interested in getting another dog. Is Sally still available?
Sincerely,
Karin (Ilg) Somoza
P.S. I would like to make a donation

It's great to see an organization so dedicated to the care of Boxers.
We just had to put our ten year old Brindle Boxer who's name was Zeke...he passed away 9-16-2000 He had advanced heart disease....that we knew nothing about. He just started to show signs of it two days before he died...he was the love of our families life...and we miss him more than words can say....he was a gentle sole....he came from this Boxer Rescue site, in 1992 when he was one and a half....we loved him, and miss him terribly. When we are ready, we would like to adopt two more...the pain is too intense right now.

I just wanted to Thank you for everything.I have adopted two of the best boxers I could ever ask for. I never owned a Boxer until 2 years and I will never own another breed they are always happy and cuddly they love children and are always cheerful a jumpy.I love coming home now since I have my two dogs that are so happy when they see me it is an unconditional love. Thank you
We are a family of a year old female boxer named Abbey. She owns us, our house and anything she wants. We love her because of the unconditional love and joy she brings our family.....Ursla, I work with Phyliss Sullivan and have always known of the work you do on behalf of this wonderful breed of dog and there are no words to describe what you and your staff are doing, only know your reward lies well beyond this world.....Please know we will always be checking in on this wonderful website.
Thank you for caring....
Love the Helo Family
We just had to put our beautiful Brindle Boxer, named Zeke down two weeks ago...he was ten years old, and we just found out that he was suffering from advanced heart disease. We got him from your rescue 9 years ago. This was our first expierence with a Boxer....I can not tell you the loss our family feels....there is such a void in our home....Zeke was a very loved, spoiled member of our family....in time, we will be adopting two more Boxers from you...we have a 14 year old mix, at the moment, who was Zekes companion, and she is missing him very much. But, we feel at this time, it's not fair to bring in two young dogs....she gets a bit cranky with young dogs now...she has some health problems as well, so we will wait until after she passes until we adopt again. She is a rescue as well, but not a Boxer...we have had her for 12 years. You should be very proud of your rescue..you are all very special people. Nancy Katona
We adopted a boxer from your rescue a year ago next month. We had been in touch with your local contact, I apologize that I can't remember her name, and she informed us someone was bringing over a few boxers from your rescue. We were looking for a companion for our two year old boxer Barkley. When we arrived to visit with the dogs, my wife fell in love with one boxer in particular who was all by himself because they said he was a little aggressive. About 30 minutes later they decided to let him join the rest and he turned out to be the sweetest boxer in the bunch. We brought him home and Barkley just loved him from the very beginning. It was like he had been waiting for him and they immediately began playing and haven't stopped to this day. We decided to name him Sebastian and he has brought hours of joy to our house. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to saving this wonderful breed of dog.
Hi Ursula,
Just and short note to tell you how thrilled I am to have adopted our second boxer from you. Roxie and Bruno are constant companions and show off for the family constantly. I was worried if I got a second boxer, then Bruno would not be as cuddly or loving...boy was I wrong. Now I have two that are cuddly, loving and they give each other constant companionship when I am not at home. Thank you. I am interested in purchasing a couple of the calendars as gifts for next year...could you please let me know how to go about it. Thanks.
