HAPPY ENDINGS: Sweetpea

Dear Folks at BRLA,

I just wanted to let you all know how Sweet Pea is doing. How does "
Fantasticulatious" sound? Or "Wonderramatastic"? She is without a
doubt the most perfect dog for our family. She is a great companion
for me, a playmate for the boys and a silly distraction for the
cat... who secretly snuggles with her on the couch... shhhh.. Sweet
has transitioned beautifully. She goes with us almost every where. So
far she's been camping, hiking, snoozed at martial arts classes
( even though she wants to play with the kids, she sits and watches
them go by, such a good girl), she even went to Disneyland! Every
morning she goes for a round of "Bally" and has so far proven that
there is not a toy out there she will not play with.... But has yet
to even feign interest in any of our shoes. AMAZING for a puppy! We
are totally smitten. She has been easy to train and is a BRLA
goodwill ambassador whenever we go for a walk.
The loss of our two older boxers within a week of each other was a
crushing blow to our family. Sweet Pea is the perfect spirit to come
in and remind us all how much fun life is! She is a constant joy and
we are soooo grateful to you for saving her and allowing us to be
part of her life. I cannot imagine how such a sweet , intelligent,
beautiful dog got into the shelter system. Thank you for getting her
out!
