HAPPY ENDINGS: Dino

I adopted Dino (formally known as Cruze) at the Costa Mesa Pet Expo in April 2005. When I first saw Dino I knew we were going to take him home. It was just meant to be. Especially considering that we did not even know that the Pet Expo was going on. Friends of ours were going to get a kitten to replace a cat that they had just lost and asked us if we wanted to go and we said yes. We were almost ready to go when we saw the Boxer rescue tent. We saw Dino and just fell in love, he was so friendly and let us walk him around no problem. We took him home and introduced him to our three cats, that took a while. What has really helped is we adopted a kitten and she and Dino have really bonded, Dino follows her around, and they sleep together sometimes. Dino is very spoiled, I roller blade with him in the morning before work, he spends time on our laps at night watching TV and sleeps in our bed at night. He enjoys doing tricks for treats and is very friendly to anyone we introduce him to. He is a very loving dog. He has had eye problems (his eyes don't produce enough tears) and we have to give him eye drops twice a day ever day. That is a small price to pay for all the love and enjoyment Dino has brought to our household. We still can't believe someone would just abandon him like he was. He is so loving and so full of energy. It's lucky for us because he is just awesome and we couldn't be happier.
