JHere is an update on Chloe (Delores) and our rescue
experience. Myself, 4 girls, and our male boxer Roscoe headed down to
L.A. Boxer Rescue on Saturday, 10/8/05 ) to find a new friend for
Roscoe as he lost his best friend (CJ) recently and was really not the
same 75 lb. puppy we were use to.
We met Toni and she brought out two male dogs for Roscoe to check out
and he just wasn't very interested in either of them. Then she
brought out Chloe (Delores) and Roscoe's nubby tail stood straight up
in the air, he invited her to play with him, and followed her
everywhere she walked. My girls fell in love with her as did Roscoe.
We signed the paperwork and loaded all of us up and headed back home.
Chloe's first was great. We were not too sure of her house manners,
as BRLA did not have much information on her because she was so new.
Chloe was a perfect lady. She waited until she was invited to enter
the house and has not had one accident inside.
She quickly learned how to open our retractable screen door when she
wanted out in the back yard and when she wanted in the house. She
just fits in beautifully and has made herself at home. She has
decided that 8:30 PM is her time to lie on the couch with me and snore
with her head on my stomach or leg.
Thank you for all your hard work and worthwhile rescue of a wonderful
breed of dog.
Here are a few pics of Chloe and Roscoe.
