To everyone who knew and loved Buddy ("King") we just wanted to write to you and tell you what a wonderful addition to our family he is.  He has put on a lot of weight.  He came to us at 49 pounds and it has been three weeks (almost four).  He is now 61.8 pounds and looks like a real boxer.  I am attaching photos.  His only bad habit is snoring, but thankfully he has moved from the foot of our bed at night to the living room couch.  Ah, peace at last.

He has completely recovered from his penile surgery and it is almost completely retracted into the sheath.  Poor guy.  He loves our vet Dr. Woodring and only tried to eat one of the dogs at the clinic.  He has learned to sit and to lay and likes that he can come and go as he pleases out the back dog door. 

He is in love with my son, Brendan who is 7.  He cheers him on at the baseball games with his own unique howl.  You would think that our other boxer Ruby and Buddy where raised together.  It is a scream to watch them together.  He has just started defending us from the doorbell.  Every time someone rings it now he joins Ruby in his duties of house protector.

Thanks again for your wonderful organization!  We will definitely get another boxer from you guys when the time comes.
