My husband and I wanted to write in and let you know how wonderful our adoption experience has been.  We adopted Boswell about a year and a half ago and had never had a boxer before.  I did a lot of research prior to coming to BRLA and felt comfortable that a boxer would fit great into our home.  I take owning a dog very seriously as I have had a Yorkie for 14 years.  This was going to be the test getting a 5 pound Yorkie and a Boxer to mesh, but I work from home and knew that we could make it work.  They are know great buddies and she puts him in his place if he get too rough with her.  They sleep together and roam around the backyard like best friends.  One thing that my husband was a little disappointed in is that from what I read Boxer's are not much of "water" dogs.  Well from the attached picture you can tell that is far from the truth for our Boswell.  He runs in the sprinklers every afternoon after playing with the neighbor dog. :0)  He also loves when we take him to the dog beach in Huntington beach.  We can barely keep him out of the ocean.
