Hi all at Boxer Rescue,
I have gotten a few follow up emails from you guys asking
about how Bella is doing but I have been so busy I have not
had a chance to respond.
Bella is doing absolutely wonderful. It was a tough rode with
her terrible case of kennel cough and her fainting spells
along with her aggression but over the last few months she
has come a long way. She has never had another fainting spell
after the second one 4 months ago.She weighed 41 pounds when
I adopted her and now weighs 48. Her coat has gotten very
shiny and healthy. She no longer coughs or heaves. She started
acting aggressively to strangers once she felt better which
became a problem but after some strict rules and training
at home she is now a lot more friendly.
Bella has become just as much a member of our small family
as my son. She is a amazing and loving dog who I can't imagine
not having in my life. She is not hyper at all which is perfect
for us. She believes she is the most important part of the
family and is always in the center of any family fun. My boyfriend
and I both agree she is the best dog either of us have ever
had. Even with the fact she still now and then has some potty
accidents...haha. Thank you all so much for allowing me the
opportunity to adopt such a wonderful dog. I am looking forward
to watching Bella continue to grow and mature. My son has
improved so much in school and in attitude since we have gotten
Bella. He is always hugging her and dancing with her and kissing
her. He makes sure everyone knows how much he loves her. For
all this I thank you for your hard work and dedication. Without
wonderful people like you I would not have my amazing and
beautiful Bella.
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Nikki & Dakota Bacenko
