It is not often that a city shelter will do a surgical procedure on a dog in their care. Tessie was the exception. She must have been hit by a car and the shelter performed the procedure to help her walk again. She came to us with a healing incision on her hip. She is doing well and walking helps build the muscle mass around her injury. Tessie has a very unique face which always has a big smile on it. She is great around other dogs and has such a positive attitude that it is infectious. Any family would be lucky to bring Tessie into their lives.
