We are always sad when a senior ends up in a city shelter. If only they could talk, the tales they would tell. Spikey is a wonderful guy and must have been a loved pet up until they could no longer keep him. We don’t know why he was left at a shelter, we only know that he is a great dog and deserves to live in a home and be loved again.  He is a gentleman on a leash and knows his commands. He is in fantastic shape for his age and will keep you on your toes and get you out walking. Walking a dog is the best exercise and will keep you fit. Spikey is good with other dogs he has meet at BRLA and is gentle with our volunteer’s children.  We think Spikey is the Bee’s Knees.
