Roxie has had a rough road which brought her to BRLA. Her owner was a victim of domestic violence and when she entered a battered women facility Roxie could not live there. Roxie went from friend to friend living with a different collection of animals and people. The stress of worrying about her owner and now ultimately the stress of kennel life is hard on Roxie. She is a good girl that ended up in a very bad situation. She needs a clean start in a stable home.
This girl just needs a break and someone to believe in her. She has an amazing spirit which shines bright when away from the stress of a kennel. She still worries about her owner and needs some happiness and closure of her own to life a life of peace and happiness.
Roxie is now a BRLA Mentor Dog of Focus. She will benefit from all the extra attention and positive training methods.
