BRLA is fortunate to have volunteers who bring their children with them to interact with our dogs. Rowdy has the Kid Tested seal of approval from BRLA mom volunteer. She is fantastic with kids and they get such a kick out of how clever she is. Rowdy gives the best high fives and has the down command perfect just like an army man (opps Air Force man). What more could you want?

Rowdy is like a ray of sunshine, brightening the world around her with her happiness.  You can't help but smile as her joy is contagious.  Rowdy is a sweet compact boxer who is energetic, enthusiastic, athletic and fun with a natural tail which acts like a weather vane for her moods.  If she is curious, excited or happy, it curls up in the air and can arch over her back.  When she is relaxed and calm, her tail is too.

Rowdy is very clever, learns quickly and already knows the basic commands: Heel, Sit, Lie down and Stay.  She wants to please and once she knows she is not supposed to lead the walk, happily trots along next to her person looking up frequently to make sure everything is okay.  She loves her walks but has the stamina and good manners to up the pace if asked.  Her beautiful eyes are always observant of her surroundings but mostly she wants to look at her people and make them happy. 

This young, affectionate boxer enjoys sharing her walks with other dogs after proper canine introductions but is most interested in being with people.  Her exuberance might be a better match for older children but she is quick to learn rules and is easy to train.  As Rowdy is patiently waiting for her forever home, she brings happiness to everyone who works with her.
