We think Rio is a good part Dog de Boudreaux, more commonly know as the dog Hooch from the Tom Hanks movie: Turner and Hooch.  He is quite an amazing creature with beautiful red fur and those lips and that face.  He is just as rambunctious as the movie character being the big strong dog that he is.  He has been working on his social skills with other dogs and he loves people. He has grown quite fond of some of our Air Force volunteers who put him through his paces.  Rio would love a strong owner with as many kids as possible.

Rio has done his homework and the BRLA volunteers have done an amazing job of making Rio a great boy in public. He is very playful and gentle with kids and just a big goofball. Any family looking to ad one and only one great dog to their family, and one who will get lots of comments on how unique he is should come and meet Rio.
