This big brown boy is quite an athlete and would love an active life. Petey has demonstrated the ability to overcome any situation and pay attention to what is important, his handler. He has great leash skills and does not over react to dogs or excitement on the streets. He came to us protective of his food bowl but he has overcome that and is the perfect gentleman. He has no problem taking treats around other dogs. Petey has been working hard with BRLA volunteers and is a fast study. He is one of the star students of the BRLA Mentor Training Program and all the attention he is getting shows when you walk him. He looks to handler for guidance and only wants to please. He has come a long way and is a good boy. He is a good on leash and good with calm female dogs. He is everything anyone with boxer skills would love to have at home. Petey is terrific.
