Hi!  I'm Ozzie. I am a very playful, very energetic 4 year old boxer
who is truly a puppy at heart. I have been here at boxer rescue for far
too long and the wonderful volunteers are pretty sure it is only because when people meet me, I don't seem very interested in my prospective adopters, as I am too busy checking out what’s going on all around me. You see, I am a very excitable boy, and all the excitement around BRLA can be distracting. If I only knew that you might take me home I would definitely try to pay more attention to you, and show you what a great boy I am.

I was recently lucky enough to have a foster family and they really got to know me and understand me. Once we got me home away from
all the chaos at the kennel they got to see the real me. My foster mom says I have that "something special" way about me, and that I am one of the most fun and comical boxers she has ever known ( and she's known a lot!)

I really love to play ball, jump in the pool, workout on the treadmill and have my belly rubbed. I’d love having someone to lavish me with love, take me for runs and play ball with me. I will give you Boxer kisses as my appreciation with my oversized tongue that doesn't quite fit in my mouth.

I am completely housebroken. In fact I was using the doggy door at my foster house on my very first day!!  She says I am very smart. I know my commands too and  I will sit, lay down, and even patiently wait for you to throw my ball Once my foster mommy got me home, all I wanted to do was follow her around and be her best friend.I am crate trained, and am currently working on my leash manners with trainers. I am a big, strong boy who needs an experienced owner to show me the way and I would do best in a home with older kids and I’d prefer to be the only dog for now. I really need a family of my own.

All I want in life is my own family who will love me, play with me, and give me plenty of exercise, and you will see how truly great I am ( I hate to brag, but it's true!!). Please come meet me, just ask for Ozzie!
