Mako was previously in a home with too many dogs. Too many unaltered dogs. There were inevitable squabbles so BRLA rescued Mako, got him neutered and he is ready to go to a more stable home. A home where there is interaction, inclusion, exercise and lots of love. He is a good boy at the perfect age where chewing and nonsense is in his past. Adult dogs make quicker transitions into new homes. Mako is fine with calm female dogs but does need proper introduction and supervised integration. He is a handsome devil and quite the athlete who would love an active lifestyle.
Fast forward to Mako paying his dues at BRLA. So many BRLA volunteers pour their time and energy into this littl guy. And you can tell. He may not be young or adorable but he is an awesome Boxer with all the qualities anyone could want. He totally ignores other dogs on walks. He is grateful for the time he gets with humans and that is enough for Mako. Anyone looking to provide a life for a life deserving a life should meet Mako.
