These two must have been very confused when they were driven at night to a remote shelter and left in the night deposit box. Yes they have such a thing, meant for safe keeping of animals found by good Samaritans but this was deliberate abandonment. The door locked behind them and they were found in the morning when the shelter opened. This is sad but true.
Julia and Mack are definitely in love. They are both very vibrant, still love to go for walks but of course any senior enjoys quite time and lots of love most of all. They were with BRLA volunteer who has a small son and both Boxers were gentle and respectful of the boy. They do not go out of their way to be with other dogs nor are they opposed to other dogs. When you have a built in best friend you really don’t go looking for much else in the way of canine companionship.
These two old love birds just need a warm spot to land for the final chapter of their life. They need the dignity and respect any of gods creatures deserve. They are currently in foster care and not at BRLA so please mention by name on your application to meet Mack and Julia
