This silly boy came to us with a silly soft cast on his leg.  What were they thinking?  Our vet checked him out and he does have a fracture but it’s healing nicely and we got him a proper cast.  He will be just fine when the cast comes off.  Lucas is one sweet boy.  He is great with other dogs and loves people to pieces. His leash manners will be revealed when his cast comes off and he can really go for a good walk but we feel he has great potential to be an all around good guy.  He has hung out loose with our volunteer during breaks and he does not beg for food. He is happy to lay down and enjoy the conversation around him.  Lucas is wonderful cast or no cast.
