Gil was living with someone could no longer take care of him. A friend took him in as last resort and they started their life together in Colorado. New owner was transfered to San Diego and brought Gil with him. Having never owned a Boxer before Gils, new owner felt a little "in over his head". He lived with a number of room mates so it was hard to establish a solid routine for Gil with so many parties involved. It soon became evident that Gil deserved a home that knows and loves all things Boxers. A confident owner will help Gil understand boundries, appropriate play with others and how to share.
He is doing pretty well around calm Boxer at BRLA but we can tell he needs time and guidance to be comfortable around new dogs in general. He is anxious to learn and anxious to find a forever home.
